We are dedicated to providing a reliable and efficient collection of solid waste for the citizens, visitors and businesses in these areas. We also promote environmentally friendly practices to reduce solid waste by diverting as much recyclable material as possible.

The refuse collected by route trucks is processed in our Material Recovery Facility, exposing all recyclables to maximize recovery efforts

Never Feed a Bear

One gift of the Sierra Nevada is the opportunity to share our homes with the majestic black bear.

Bears that visit human occupied areas are usually in search of sources of food. You can take precautions so that bears are not attracted to food.

Do not leave food or ice chests on decks or in vehicles.Put garbage out on the morning of pickup or install a bear-resistant trash enclosure. Do not leave pet food outside.By taking our share of the responsibility, we can continue to share the Sierras with our wildlife.
